58 died in Kedarnath during Chardham Yatra

Dehradun. The Char Dham Yatra for the pilgrims has started from the month of April. The administration as well as the devotees have faced problems due to repeated bad weather during the Chardham Yatra. At the same time, on an average, 2 devotees have died every day.

According to media reports, these deaths occurred due to cardiac arrest or chronic pulmonary disease. During 27 days, about 10 lakh devotees have worshiped in the four Himalayan temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri located above 10,000 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas.
